Living Life near the speed of Light,
never looking back.
Poets plan for a rendezvous,
and they plot it on the Captain’s Map.
I’ll meet you on the viewing deck, in sight of Neptune’s moons.
Caught between the tugging tide, this bird will make it through.
Who will tell the children? Who will let them know?
Of the world we left behind, of her pain and woe.

Neptune bids us a fond farewell,
out beyond the Sun.
Comets streaking on our starboard side,
